The Fairfield Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization  

• Funds go toward library purposes only 
• Administered by an independent board of directors, composed of local citizens who all serve without compensation
• Endows and protects the library's future 
• Provides much-needed help in maintaining the library's collections
• Provides funds for necessary capital improvements, such as up-to-date computer systems
• Provides the resources to help the library stay current with advances in the digital age
• Gifts of any size or kind are welcome

To see evidence of community ownership in the library, see our donor wall inside the building!  

• Each endowment of $500 or more has a screenprinted plate 
• Some people donate smaller amounts annually to the Library Endowment 
• We track those donations and when the total adds up to $500 we add their plate to the wall
• Please make checks payable to the FPL Foundation
