Annual Summer Reading Challenge

Each summer, Fairfield Public Library invites kids, teens, and families to join the Summer Reading Challenge and celebrate the joy of reading. Participants from birth through age 18 can track their reading throughout June and July using the free Beanstack app. As they read, they’ll earn points that can be redeemed for fun prizes, encouraging them to keep turning pages all summer long. Thanks to the generous support of local businesses and manufacturers, the library also hosts exciting special events featuring guest educators and entertainers for children and their families. Best of all, books read aloud to children and audiobooks both count toward each participant’s reading goals!
